Collection: Campo Del Cielo Meteorite

Chaco and Santiago del Estero, Argentina

Campo del Cielo comes from a region in northern Argentina where iron meteorite fragments have remained present for thousands of years following their fall. Formed between 4,000 and 5,000 years ago, the material did not disperse but stayed embedded and encountered across generations. Documented publicly in 1576, Campo del Cielo reflects continuity over time and the persistence of material that does not resolve quickly but must instead be carried forward.
